What can I expect during my first massage?

Expect to fill out a brief health history card so the therapist is aware of any previous injuries, problems or health situations.

What do I wear for a massage?

You are welcome to dress to your own comfort level. The therapist will leave the massage area so the client can dress down and lie on the massage table under a top sheet, which will be provided as a cover.

Should I eat before a massage?

It would be wise to refrain from eating a heavy meal before the massage.

How often should I get a massage?

The frequency of your massage sessions will depend on your individual needs and preferences. Some clients come in weekly, while others come in monthly or as needed.

Do you offer package deals?

Yes, package deals are offered. A package deal of three massages is offered with a 10% discount, while a package deal of six massages comes with a 15% discount. Payment for packages must be made in advance.  

When should a massage be avoided?

If you have health concerns, you should check with your general health practitioner before a session. If you are not feeling well or feel ill, please delay the massage until you are not ill or contagious.

What if I am allergic to oils, butters, creams, and lotions?

All ingredients used are hypoallergenic and cause little to no effect on the patient.

If you are allergic to anything, please complete the health history form area known as allergies. If you have special preferences, please discuss them with the therapist.

Will massages help with headaches?

Yes, massage is used to relieve stress and tension throughout the head, neck, shoulders, back, etc.

Will a massage release toxins?

Massage will stimulate the release of toxins. Be sure to drink plenty of water and fluids after a massage is completed.

Do you offer prenatal or couples massage?

No, we do not offer prenatal or couples massage at this time.
